About Mark Coffey

Mark is based in Alice Springs and has a deep understanding of Central Australia having lived in regional Australia all his life.  Mark is an expert in regional economic development, remote leadership, service delivery, community engagement, coaching and strategy development.

Mark also has experience in Indigenous program delivery, Investigations, strategic planning and facilitation. Mark draws on 22 years in the Northern Territory Police where he served as Assistant Commissioner before joining the Australian Public Service as a Senior Executive. Mark most recently led the Office of Northern Australia (Commonwealth) over four years driving economic development and working closely with state and federal governments and industry.

Mark has a profound understanding of how government operates, the challenges of service delivery in regional and remote Australia and how policy translates on the ground. Mark deals with challenges through engagement, collaboration and problem solving bringing a high level of pragmatism and authenticity.
